KCTC now offers an upgraded voicemail system
with many new easy to use, time saving features. Please see the information below
on the features now included with voicemail, and how to use them. If you have

KCTC Voice Mail Features . . .

*Sub-boxes :: Each Voicemail
box comes with two sub-boxes. These additional boxes are separate from each other.
Maximum number of messages
:: Max number of Voicemail messages allowed per mailbox.
Maximum message length (minutes)
:: Max length of a Voicemail message.
New message retention (days)
:: Number of days that a new, unheard voicemail message is kept before being
deleted.
Saved
message retention (days) :: Number of days that an old, previously
listened to voicemail message is kept before deleted.
Email
notification :: Sends new voicemail messages as an email attachment
to a maximum of two preset email address. The combined character length of the
email addresses can be no more that 50 characters. Customers with a KCTC Internet
account will be able to forward to one kctc.net address and one other address.
To forward to additional boxes, or without a KCTC Internet account is $2.95 per
month.
Message forwarding
:: Allows user to send messages to other mailboxes.
Send memo feature ::
Record a voice memo, and send to other mailboxes.
Out-Dialing
:: Allows callers to dial 0 to forward their call to a preset local number when
accessing this mailbox.
Multiple greetings
:: Allows users to have multiple mailbox greeting. For example, a voicemmail box
used for a business may have a regular greeting and one that it uses when out
of the office or closed.
Internet control
:: Allows users to manage their Voicemail service messages and settings through
a web interface.
Distribution lists
:: Forward messages, or voice memos to a list of voicemail boxes at once.
Daily notification
:: Once per day the system will notify user by local phone message the status
of their voicemail box.
Pager or phone notification
(local number only) :: System will notify user by local phone or pager
that there is a message waiting.
